Quality System

Metalcam’s quality system is fully integrated in all production phases, from planning to manufacturing. The excellent quality standards certified by Metalcam are ensured by highly qualified personnel and well-equipped labs whose working instruments are regularly monitored and updated.

The company operates in accordance with a quality management system compliant with ISO 9001:2015 standards, certified by LRQA.

Product certifications are issued by leading certification bodies such as: TÜV, Det Norske Veritas, Lloyd’s Register of Shipping, Bureau Veritas, Germanischer Lloyd, ABS, etc.

Metalcam thoroughly follows national and international quality rules and regulations, in order to constantly be updated. A dedicated team of 6 highly skilled professionals is always always available to ensure that customer needs are met through information updates, reports, meetings and conference calls.

Quality Control

Metalcam works with the most important inspection agencies such as ABS, TUV, BV, Lloyds Register, DNV, GL, R.I.N.A., etc. Inside Metalcam’s labs, highly qualified Level II ISO 9712 and/or SNT-TC-1A personnel carries out the following activities:

It operates in full compliance with environmental regulations for companies in Italy, ensuring that its environmental management is certified and meets national and international standards.

Certifications and environmental compliance:

  • Integrated Environmental Authorisation (IEA) since 2006
  • Implementation of the IPPC Directive (Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control)
  • Greenhouse gas emissions monitoring system in accordance with Directive 2003/87/EC
  • Continuous monitoring of industrial emissions

We are also currently undergoing the ISO 14001 certification process, the international standard for environmental management systems.

The structured occupational health and safety management system for industry comprises:

  • Regular corporate security audits
  • Health monitoring with scheduled medical check-ups
